Last week I travelled to Boston for a few days for a conference. At first, I was pretty nervous and had no idea what I was going to do by myself for 4 days! The Liberty Hotel helped to make my stay very enjoyable. The hotel has a charming history as it used to be the Charles Street Jail! Holding true to the jail theme, the hotel has bars and restaurants named Alibi and Clink and guests receive "solitary" room keys.
The service at the hotel is beyond excellent with very friendly doorman, Veuve Cliquot served upon your arrival, and Molton Brown Products.
It's located on Charles Street in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. Beacon Hill was just as charming as I had hoped it would be. It felt like a cross between Georgetown and Annapolis. The antique shops, bakeries, and small boutiques won me over. North River Outfitters carried just about every brand I love, and it was hard to have any self control! I'm already planning my next trip.
