Madmen

Between pool time and food time at the beach (or at least that's all I do), I love catching up on TV shows.  The Metropolitan got me into watching Madmen this past season and I wanted to go all the way back to season 1 to see where the show began. I am loving the fashion in season 1 so much! From the perfect little dresses, to the matching handbags and shoes, to the bright red lips, every episode is noteworthy.

One of my favorite characters to watch is the blue blooded and gorgeous Trudy Campbell. I love her elegant little ensembles and perfect lipstick shades.




I love Joan's sexy office ensembles. I pretty sure that woman would make a baggy t-shirt look great. Her dresses are tailored unbelievably well and she always wears the perfect pinks and reds to show off her complexion and famous hair.





Who could forget good old Betty Draper? I hate the frumpy Betty of recent seasons and miss this girl. The former model turned housewife always knows how to make grocery shopping look chic.






Don's mistresses in season 1 like Rachel are just perfect too. Rachel's pink hat and little suit ensembles are to die for.

  1. I have never watched Mad Men but everyone has been raving about it so it is definitely on my list of new shows to watch! The women's outfits are so classic, how fun!

  3. Mad Men is such a good show! I'm still a few seasons behind but I love it. The costumes are great and make me want to live in the 60s...if anything, just for the clothes!
