I had quite the carnivorous weekend in NYC with the Metropolitan. We mainly spent the weekend running errands to help him settle into his new NYC life. Between traveling and starting work, we won't be seeing each other for a few weeks (sniff sniff) and tried to make the most out of our hectic weekend. Our two main destinations? Wolfgang's for dinner and the Natural History Museum.
I had been hearing all about Wolfgang's from the Metropolitan all week. This steakhouse was started by a waiter from the most famous steakhouse in NYC, Peter Luger's. Wolfgang's is now considered a close second if not even first by some.
The menu is quite simple and we went with the onion and tomato salad, steak for two with creamed spinach, and apple strudel.
Simple yet the most incredible melt in your mouth feel like your in heaven steak I've ever had. The creamed spinach was perfect too.
Clearly I enjoyed myself. # embarrassing photo.
At the Natural History Museum I was thrilled to see all my favorite carnivores in the flesh.
and some herbivores too.
Of course, I did make a quick trip into C. Wonder.
While I'll be missing my boyfriend very much for the next few weeks, I'm glad we got to spend such a fantastic weekend together and I can't wait for many more in NYC!
